Sorry this is late and that ATE my other review :( THIS WAS EPIC! I loved it :3

First off your characterization of Sai is seriously my favorite that I've read. He's an odd character to write but I feel like you catch whatever it is that makes him just human enough to be an interesting support role without making him TOO chatty or OOC. AWESOME!

And it's random, but I loved the little line you did about the dove, when she's expecting a rat or the like! XD AND the detail about how it tilts its head at her. LOVED. THAT. I don't know why, but it added a little something to the scene taht I really enjoyed.

Next: YOUR SUI! His lines = pure, epic win. 'Hey, crazier **..' I LULZED SO HARD! I imagined Sui sitting by a campfire, making out a detailed list of the craziest kunoichi he knows and scribbling KARIN as large as you please at the top. RANDOM, but it's what I thought. XD OH! and him admiring Sakura and calling her a little minx = WIN! TOO FUNNY! I think you really captured Sui through his dialog with Karin / your description of his reactions and fighting technique. EXCELLENT JOB! :)

And Karin? SPOT ON! I love how you balance her inner and outer dialog. You make her LOVEABLE and interesting and ingaging and the Karin you and I so love to chatter about! :) Her thoughts on Sakura and Sasuke really struck me. They're very well written in that you feel the bias she has toward / against each without it being over bearing. LOVE <3

Don't get me started on your Sasuke and Sakura interaction. Sakura backflipping off the kusanagi? Sasuke's face : O_O XD best intro for Sakura into a SasuSaku fight sequence EVER! And your imagry for his eyes made me drool. Fact.

Also loved the Sakura / Karin parallels on Sakura's inner monolog. WIN!

And Sauce taking out Sai's bird without looking. CANNOT GET COOLER THAN THAT (unless you're Itachi, of course ;D but not everyone can be that perfect)

like you said, it really was long. i spent so much time reading it O_O but nevertheless, it was enjoyable and worth the time. im glad that you enumerated the things that sasuke did at the end. i was blind and missed out some of them. i guess sasuke still does care even just a lil bit. he just shows his love subtly. that was nice, the stuff that you pointed out has changed my opinion towards him

You know, THAT is EXACTLY why Sasuke is my favorite character in Nartuo (aside form the fact that he's pretty :P), he's so damn interesting. We don't really know his intentions at all, only what he SAYS his intentions are, and the ever intelligent Sasuke usually has somehing up his sleeve. He's a total mystery and, like Sakura says in one of your other fics, figuring out the puzzle is a part of his allure. I just hope Kishimoto goes in that direction...I have a feeling he will. He's done a fantastic job of creating one of the most complex array of characters I've come across (even if he does make all of the women medics >:l). Sasuke, despite his less than noble actions, is fantastically written. It's why I think it's so hard for writers to keep him in character, and I have to say that you did a pretty good job. :) I just wish the main fanbase of the manga (you know, 12 year old boys?) had the insight to see that, and not just comment how stupid "Sas-gay" is or how boring the chapter was becasue there was no fighting. Attempting to go on Naruto forums makes me loose brain cells.

Wow! superb! I guess everything you said made sense :S Sasuke still cares about Sakura because he never "intentionally" tried to hurt anyone...COOL!

This was definitely a good second part. I liked how consistent you were with how this has been portrayed in the manga (physical contact, as well as Sasuke's suspicious lack of actually severely hurting his teammates). The dialogue was nicely written as well, and as I said in the previous chapter, I am very impressed with the manga-faithfulness of the characters' personalities. Overall, this was a very good story. :)

I really like the style in which this was written. You've captured the characters very well--especially Sasuke, and his is one of the hardest characters in the series to maintain. The plot is very intriguing as well, and I'm interested in seeing how the second part plays out.

This the best SasuSaku fic I have ever read in my entire time in this fandom. This is good enough for canon. I wish I could praise it properly in so many more words but I know these things have character limits.

Sakura and Sasuke were perfect. They are so much more about what is NOT said and you captured that aspect perfectly. This fic is the standard to which all SS fics of this type should be held and I have never said that before in any review of SS fics I've read.
