Dude. This was FANTASTIC. Absolutely brilliant. Like - i cant even say how awesome this was. Best story i've read in a long time.

My favourite line was probably this one:

“You’re going to go too far, you’re going to cross a line, and the good guys are going to try to take you out. And I’m going to try to stop them. And I’m going to die.”

That was the best line of this whole thing. Probably because that's what i'm worried is going to happen. i cant see sammy coming back from the cliff any time soon, and Dean is never gonna be able to walk away.

I cant even tell you how brilliant this was. Brilliant.

Ok. YOU are the one! The one for whom I actually (and finally) sign myself in here. Have been reading for some tiome around here, found lot's of stories I like - and lot's I love. But yours is the one that drove my over the edge - and now I have to tell wou how much I like it!(Is it embarrassing to say I had a tear in my eye? Well, I had )

I love the way everything is just... behind the scenes. (Do I make sense?) The way Dean's thoughts are turning in his head, the way you discribe the heartache he feels for Sam leaving - and never really seeing what this does to his brother. And the poem (it is a poem, is it?) just fits perfectly. And sometimes 2 am is just the right time to write the perfect oneshot (did that myself once)

Yep. Definitely one hell of a story you've conjured up. Its brilliant. Exactly the way Dean and Sam are supposed to be. No one being one sided or selfish, each brother hopelessly devoted to the other. Sticking together, like they should. Like they know they always will.
