Kinda wondering just *who's* soul is in the clone though... they're supposed to be the base of the dummy plug system or something, eh? Kinda makes it seem like it's a bad idea to leave one laying around your *ahem* junk.

Also, age numbers don't seem to add up too well? Shinji says 30 years of marriage, which would easily put him and Rei nearing their 50's at least. (Rather old, ne?), whereas later you mention 18 years of clone incubation back when the couple got serious at the age of 18 (so 36 years which is less wrinkly... XD)

I think elements of this spamfic could be fun as a creepy/horror sorta fic. An older Shinji with a close physical resemblance to his father interacting with a younger Rei? Hm... ^_^
