Aw, poor Alex, good story though.
My favourite line is from chapter 1 "That was the beauty of shoelaces" - absolutely :D I love shoelaces...I enjoy annoying people by knotting them together (or to the nearest chair leg heehee!) - usually while they're sitting down, it's fun to see if they remember or not when they get up *evil grin*!
