This is an extremely interesting take on the effects of war - I think you captured his feelings very well - it is a deep conflict for some veterans and returning to civilian life can be very frustrating especially when considering the innocence of a child compared to the disasters of war. BTW his wife's name was Toni but you got his daughter's name correct...
