WOW! This was one heck of a trip. I thouroughly enjoyed reading this. Occasionally there were some unnessisary words/sentances but your plot was great and you had Smith's character down well. I really hope you entertain that idea of a sequel.

So, does this actually get a sequel or was that one of those ending where you choose what happens next? The former would be much appreciated. One can hardly ever find anyone who actually tries to write characters like they would be.

This was awesome! Smith was in character and it felt like I was reading a prequel to the first Matrix movie. I really liked how you were able to balance the romance with the action and how you tied the death of her husband with Smith.

I loved the contrast of moods and emotions in this chapter, from the high tensions at the start to the despair to the hopefulness of the ending--which is something I simply cannot resist, I must confess.;)

The second half of this chapter made my eyes mist over. (But no, I don't think it was too sappy at all.) I am on the edge of my seat.

No. No! You can't just end it like that...This is chapter was very good. =) I love how you put Smith and Elise into a fight and he's lecturing her all the while. Haha, that cracked me up. As for him going to quick to teddy bear...well, sort of but not entirely. He could still have his bitterness very much alive in him, but I think Smith will always have that battle of 'why?' in himself...you know?

Still, very, very good and please, please continue. With a cherry on top? And chocolate fudge and sprinkles and nuts and whip cream? The whole damn works on the sundae? ^_^
