First of all, this is really well written. I think you captured Hiyori's character very well, and your description of the workings of her mind was a thrill to read! You know you've found a good fic when you forget everything around you while reading it. Good work! I especially loved Shinji's gesture at the end, giving her his jacket and all. So sweet! And who wouldn't sit outside in the cold if they could get to wear Shinji's coat? ^^

Oh, and please keep writing Shinji/Hiyori fics. The world needs more of 'em, especially ones like yours!

Very true to the original characters in my opinion. It doesn't try to be anything else than a brief glance into hyori's mind but it succeeds admirably at it.
