Really well done! I couldn't figure out what series Sam might be from but after a Google on what little she reveals didn't turn up anything and I realized that you didn't have a disclaimer for her I assume she is original. She is a fascinating character and would make for a really good original series on her own.

I really enjoyed this! Despite this being a Steed/Emma fic, I like how you wrote Purdey and Gambit and their little card game. And the way Steed muses on just what it is they feel about each other, and whether they'll figure it out in time...

Sam was great fun as well! I'd love to see more from you.
