This chapter was pretty good, but I felt this chapter didn't really further the story much.

As for pace, it could be sped up just a bit.

Oh my gosh! She took a roundhouse to the stomach?? And done by a professional no less! That must have hurt, I'm surprised she didn't throw up.

Poor Mikah, I was feeling so bad for her at the food restriction part. You see, I was eating homemade delicious peach cobbler at the time and if ANYBODY tried to take it away from me, I would have destroyed them.

KITT is kind of being an a**. I bet KARR would have let her eat anything she wanted.
