I really like this story, as well as the one before this. BUT there is one thing in this chapter which a find quit annoying giving that I'm from Denmark.
Germany and Denmark is NOT further north den England and i would say that the temperatur is quit the same, if not better in Germany/Denmark giving the more rain in England.

But anyway really good story, well written :)

Interesting story. I hope Harry outgrows the lisp by the time the next installment comes up; it's really annoying. I know you're doing it to make him sound like a toddler, but there are other ways to handle that. It takes more skill as a writer to have him simply speak the way a toddler speaks (maybe on rare occassions dropping a final consonant) but I think you have sufficient mastery of the craft to pull it off.

By the way, I think at such an early age Harry would call Severus "Sev." And Severus would let him. He might not let Remus get away with it, but he would let Harry.

The usual spelling of Harry's new first name is "Jonathan," with no "h." Some kids of teen mothers end up with misspelled names officially on their birth certificates because the mothers don't know any better, but Severus is too well-educated and well-read to make such a mistake.

Putting an "h" in Jonathan is a minor slip, and easily corrected. There is another story on this site with an original heroine named "Jackolane." The author not only didn't know how to spell "Jacqueline," she apparently didn't know how to pronounce it, either. Since the name appeared everywhere in the story, including the title, it was too late to change it. That's not the case with your story.

When I'm not sure of the spelling of a name I try googling someone I know has the name, such as "Jacqueline Kennedy." If you misspell it and are not too far off, Google will give you the correct spelling. I tried "David and Johnathan" and Google gave me "Jonathan" right off the bat. One has to be careful with this technique because there are plenty of misspellings on the net, but the correct spellings will be in the majority.

If you are truly committed to giving Harry a misspelled first name, I offer my apologies.

Well - I'm very excited about the story! I keep thinking about the time when Sirius would show up. Whether you'll let him show up sooner or as in canon's timeline. The reappearance of Sirius would certainly spark off more angst, insecurity and self-doubt in Severus. Now he has 2 persons to lose to Sirius - Remus and Harry.
