Aw, this was so cute with Manny including Toby in a very precious memory. It took me awhile to figure out where they ended up, but then I was like oh, I get it. lol. They should totally build their dream house on the clearing, or would it make it less special. Probably? Okay, their kids will play there then.
You've also highlighted why I think Manny would be good for Tobes. She could totally boost his confidence. Pining over Emma got him nowhere, and Liberty chose Damien over him. I mean, DAMIEN! lol. Manny's always been very sweet to Toby and cares how he feels. They should've hooked up before she went off to stinkin' Smithdale.
I thought the dialogue was well-done. It made the story go by pretty fast, so I was craving for some more, but it did what dialogue is supposed to do- establishing character, mood, setting, etc.
I'm going to keep poking you until you do a full-length story. I know only crazy people do those (points to self) but you could so do it. I know it!
