I wish you had written more. It seems so empty to end it there. I loved it.

Complete? I don't think so. I would very much like to see more of this story. I love that Luna has found some of the creatures people laughed at her about, and I like how Snape wouldn't mind learning to love again--and really wouldn't mind at all actually receiving some for a change, underneath the fear and snark.

"He regrets his gibe about Snarks now. If that swot Granger meant to sneer at Luna with that gift, that is reason enough for his support, even if, in the past, whenever she talked about the Crumple-horned Snorkack, he was tempted to skip the Killing Curse and just strangle her with his bare hands." Loved that line! This story made my heart ache for Snape, but I love the touches of humor to lighten it up in places.

This played out believably - Snape would not be willing to drop his defenses just like that, and he doesn't think he has much to give. There were so many lines that tugged at my heartstrings. This pushed all the right buttons for me.

The last paragraph and last line are pitch-perfect.

A beautifully told tale. And I love how it ends on a bit of a hopeful note - Luna, I think, does not give up easily!

Great location, too! :-)

This story has (for me) the atmosphere of the Blade Runner, with ice in place of rain. Such anguish in him. Such depth and stability in her.

i've never come across this pairing before, but it seems interesting. I hope to read more soon.
