LazyNezumi 4/1/13 . chapter 1That ending... It was kinda sad... *sighs* But her 'transmission' lol! THIRD PART HERE I COME |
CRMediaGal 3/15/13 . chapter 1LOVED it! Thank you. :) |
excessivelyperky 11/23/12 . chapter 1"Whoever, you'll always be Henry the Hufflepoof to me." Snort, giggle. I love how Hermione keeps giving off signals-till she discovers that just herself is the only signal that Snape wants. |
Light on the Horizon 10/8/12 . chapter 1Great story |
Herself 9/20/12 . chapter 1 Love it! Love it! Love it! So charming, so funny, so sweet. I reeeaaaallllyy wish this was a 30 chap story because I live your writing and adore your portrayal od Hermione and Severus. Well done, you. And to a previous reviewer confused about the mention of "nineteen years," um if you read the first in this series you'll note that our lively characters wish Sev to be 20 yrs younger or Hermione to be 20 yrs older. Sooo this story takes place a yr later meaning there's only 19 yrs to go. Dur. |
The-Darkness-Befalls 9/7/12 . chapter 1Intriguing |
HarryPGinnyW4eva 8/25/12 . chapter 1I meant "Safe Conduct", obviously. lol These two are too cute! "Transmitting, Sir." Adorable. And, I loved him giving Draco detention for daring to try and get in Hermione's pants. Off to read "Safe Harbor" now. And, then I am going to bed, darnit! lol HG4eva |
lolaoz 7/1/12 . chapter 1Brilliant, going to read the next one now. X |
Guest 6/28/12 . chapter 1 Well, I was enjoying this sequel to The Safe House very much, until I got completely confused. There is no explanation for why they start and continue mentioning nineteen years. Still, if I ignore those references, it is an enjoyable sequel. |
Phoebe 4/18/12 . chapter 1 You write beautifully. Their conversations are beautiful. |
BellaTallin 3/13/12 . chapter 1Hmm.. I have to say that this one isn't your best. I mean I love where you're going with it but the jumping forward paragraph to paragraph is confusing and hard to follow at times. It seems stilted and the lack of detail and flow detracts from the story. It's hard to follow any development between the characters, though I think it would be easier if there were breaks between each jump. Then it would feel more like each section was summarizing the jump and it'd be easier to understand. |
Dimac99 3/8/12 . chapter 1Must say, I adored this. I was worried, but everything stayed on their right side of propriety - at least as far as Hermione & Snape were concerned :-) |
ofankoma 3/1/12 . chapter 1Err... You're hilarious. 'Where the Dark Lord wrapped up the mad cackling early,' 'a large, yet delicate foot', the visuals of this whorehouse (really, this story and 'Princess of Gryffindor' have the most garish brothels I've ever read), 'Henry the Hufflepoof', and... oh, goodness... Taffy? I burst out laughing out loud at the depiction of her teeth. Darkness? Good call, Severus, good call. He and Tonks are great together, by the way. (And *what* was Pince up to in Vegas, I wonder?) I never knew talk of dyspepsia was romantic... And Severus? I just want to leap through the screen into this world and give him a hug. Poor man, indulging in something terribly decadent like kissing. I'm glad to see his encounter with Hermione has awakened him to the possibilities, and that he's still sensible enough to realise that she's far too young for him in real life. Stalking his students as prey to get snogging tips? Poor man. Giving Malfoy detention to protect Hermione from the boy? At least he's charmingly petty. Hermione herself is adorably earnest in her new pursuit, however painful her early encounters with heels (Flitwick's intervention! Loved it!). Oh, Hermione. We've all been there with the shoes we've convinced ourselves are wearable... only to find out the truth ten minutes and three blisters after we've purchased them. Love how she calculates the average intelligence level of those responding to her transmitted signal. And although this is mostly a fun, silly romp through the awkwardness of being a teenager, it's very sweet to see Snape telling Hermione through his choices that he likes her just the way she is. (Nice tie in to the last story as well with the exchange of names bit.) A delightful read! |
miss insufferable know it all 2/25/12 . chapter 1Ahh! Also so very beautiful! I guess you have a thing for writing about hookers, hens The Princess of Gryffindor. Going to read the last sequel. you are amazing! |
Montara 2/15/12 . chapter 1Him going to that brothel was so awful! I'm glad she was courageous enough to go to him at the end. Thank you! |
