I loved EVERY bit of this ficlet. Cheating? Hell no! Double treat more like it. You absolutely nailed the boys here, and I really needed to see the innate connection and understanding they share. Although I am loving season 4, Kripke and Co are killing me slowly and I loved this little piece of Winchester brothers you gave us. Well done DG, you made my day.

Technically cheating or not, that was wonderful. I could so picture that going down... Angry Sam, still as caring as ever, despite everything. Dean, as unwilling as ever to show any sign of weakness. They're still brothers and they're still fighting the same fight - wherever Mr Kripke leads us!
Lovely double drabble. Jane

"Classic Dean concussion manifesting after a five minute tirade of I’m fines…." Hee! So True.

This was awesome. I loved the "little tells" and how Sam just knew Dean was gonna puke and very well done.

Wow, I really liked this. My favorite part: "All of Dean’s tells were small. It didn’t matter, though, how far apart they might have grown in recent months. You couldn’t undo a lifetime of conditioning." I also really loved this: "The demon blood that coursed through Sam’s veins had changed him, but some things ran too deep to ever change." I love that Sam still notices things about Dean, that he knows him so well, and that some things will never change. Nice bit of comfort, in a season with so much distance between the boys.

Really lovely how close their bond still is in this (double-) drabble, despite their differences. I'm certain you are right, some things just never change, about Sam and Dean... about his tell tales... and about always caring for one another. Sweet!

Ah hon, I don't review drabbles that are more than 100 words, dang it, but if I did, I'd tell you how much I loved this. The small tells. Lovely.

This was totally adorable! And i really hope it's true! That no matter one, some things run deeper than others! Great job.

This is MAGNIFICENT.

Sam is still Dean's Sam, still OUR Sam' demon blood or no.

Guh. The fainting, the puking, the degree to which Sam is tuned in and knows exactly how and when to help in spite of Dean's protests. Good one. And I like that you chose specific tells for Dean - his breathing, his wobbliness, a hesitation.

Amazing. I love the first half. Second half is awesome too, but something about the tells, and conditioning, and Sammy watching Dean. this is definitely one of my favorite fanfic subjects. Them watching and noticing each other.

This one is very, very good -- And the last sentence sums it up quite beautifully -- Well done!

I certainly won't protest to double drabbles. Mean we get more of your work all at once. :-)

That's our boy, and Sammy too, as I'll always think of him. His intentions may not be as pure as even he wants to believe, but deep down he's still Sammy. I hope.

Finally new episode again this week! And I think I can handle little Winchester now that I'm almost positive it's some kind of hoax or trick. Thanks for continuing to share with us despite the crazy. How has RL been treating you? Survive your tests?

Sam taking care of Dean, esp. when Dean's so pigheaded sometimes, is great. I know that Sam's been much more interested in that as of late too, which I think it causing some of his current behavior. Good drabble.
