Aha, protective!Anakin, amusing and yet scary at the same time. (Hey, think on the bright side, if the Emperor tries to do anything to ya, I pretty sure ya father will try to murder the bloody old man. :P)

Another great chapter, rich in detail and character. I really enjoy Luke and Anakin's jousting and the exploration of their thoughts and feelings.

Worried about Obi-Wan suddenly showing up... : )

I am so glad to finally get to read the next chapter in this story. Your hard work shows in the excellence of the story. I can't say it was enjoyable to read, but I mean that as a compliment. There is so much misunderstanding and distrust between the two men that it made me uncomfortable reading about it. I wish they could just have some uninterrupted time to talk, and that Anakin could relax and let up a little on his son.

Also observing Anakin's misreading of the council meeting, his expectation of being made a master, and knowing what is going to happen there causes a growing sense of uneasiness or, in Star Wars terms, "a very bad feeling about this." Will Luke be in the meeting, outside waiting, or in the room?

This was another superb chapter, and ending on a cliffie, no less. I will be looking forward to the next one, when we find out if Obi-Wan realized what happened to his boots, or if he's mad about something else.

Anakins in trouble lol

just started reading this on a fluke but i like it. i'm not really sure where its going b/c i didn't get it at first but i'm going to keep reading cuz it sounds like my kind of story.

that's not going to turn out well :(

M, I am beginning to think that Anakin's consternation over Luke's apparent weakness in the Force have more to do with the fact that Luke didn't receive traditional Jedi training than anything. He probably doesn't know tons of things that Anakin takes for granted. That said, I hope he shocked the hell out of Anakin when it counts.
