beautiful. your rosa is ideal, just as i think she should be written. perfect lack-of-confidence and yet drawn-towards-cecil. beautiful.
and as an aside, your rydia was absofrigginlutely perfect. "punch him" ... i laughed. that spunky little brat ... loved it.

And here I thought that Rosa had no redeeming values. I really like the way you present Rosa, though I never reall cared for her too much.

Let's see... something constructive... if you were to ever rewrite this, I would consider changing a few words and actions so that Rosa didn't seem so... wishy-washy.

Also, at the end, is Rosa crying for joy or not? I can't seem to tell. Otherwise, a well written and enjoyable fic.

Rosa's a woman to be admired when you write for her, heh (I don't know whether or not you're aware of the truth behind Rosa...she was dating Kain but she dumped him for Cecil while Kain was away because she wanted to be with a man who had more power a Dark Knight as opposed to a mere Dragoon) You're writing gives more honor and spirit to the little pink sprite we all know and love (well, 'cept for that story, that was actually from a Japanese book with all the chronology and stuff...bah, it sucks to be in America sometimes). This is a great fic. Rosa doesn't get enough respect, and I'm glad to see a FF4 fic that doesn't deal with Kain angst for once (not that I don't love Kain, it's just that I can only take so much angst). The dialogue between Rydia and Edge was priceless. Rydia and Rosa's characterizations were both excellent.
