You know you could write this as if it is a normal day for Kim and Ron, but every scene Rufus is doing weirder and weirder things. For him months, possibly years have passed between each scene.

Hey JJ! Great chapter and good start. Oh boy.. Groundhog day incoming! Here's hoping Rufus can stop Kim and Ron from going on that mission or get something done quicker to save them in time. This looks like a great start, though dude. Can't wait for next chapter.

I always enjoyed Groundhog Day; watching it still makes me laugh.

Gotta say I feel sorry for Rufus as the story starts out; Bill Murray was just stuck in a town he hated. He didn't have to watch his best friends die over and over. Strikes me as funny that if Kim and Ron do make it through this, Ron will have no idea he's had so much practice trying to pop the question to Kim.

I figured this would begin with a flashback to the first Mole Rat Day; but once again you prove you're the master of the inventive opening chapter. Hope you do work a flashback in somewhere though.

Also, I've seen a several more adult themed KP stories work Rufus in well, he reminds us that an important pet really is the same as family. Though I agree that he also fills the role of Ron's guy friend.

Ahh poor Rufus having to relive the same day over and over again.

I think I can see why you gave this story that certain title. So Rufus is going through a Bill Murray experience. That should be interesting. When your story started the way it did, I expected there would be a flashback or something. Now the question is can Rufus save his friends and free them all from the temporal loop they're trapped in?
