I cannot get over how good it was, Luke cried and finally broke down about his dark day to Lorelai.

I so had never picked up on the bit about banks not being open at nighttime! It seems so obvious, but obviously not something my little brain could think of.

that was a great ending to a horrible time for luke. I'm glad he finally let her in, althought he tried his damndest to push her away. great job. :)
