I can't believe that no one has reviewed this. It's a pity, really, that people on this site are more interested in their cliche Romeo and Juliet rewrites than Shakespeare fic that's actually good (like this). Sigh.

Anyway, I found that this was terrifically written. The prose is smooth and lyrical, qualities I don't see often on such a website. And this is such a great idea for a fic; Iago has to have had some sort of deeper motive for his actions in the play, and I wouldn't personally trust what such an "honest" man reveals in the play, and I always thought he had something going on with Desdemona... oh, bugger, I'm rambling. But thank you so much for sharing this fic. I enjoyed it immensely.
