That was so incredibly beautiful. I am so moved by how gentle Chuck was with Blair while making love to her. It was clear how much he cared about her, and I love that she was able to feel safe with him.

Chuck's references to his au pair on the show have always unsettled me. Is he really implying that they had a sexual relationship? It certainly seems like it, and I'm glad that you touched on that here. It makes so much sense--why he was sexualized so young, why he feels the need to exert his power over women, and why it's so hard for him to trust Blair. I loved the part where he told Blair that he did what he did so he would get used to feeling dirty, and he didn't want that for her.

I can't even express to you how much I loved this story. I'm adding it to my favorites. :)

This is beautifully written but I was deeply disturbed by the content- first off, I can never see Nate doing anything of this sort.

Second. Chuck was raped? That's why he thinks it's acceptable to try and rape Serena and Jenny? Shouldn't that have made him more sensitive?

As much as this story was all about Blair, i think the part I liked most was when Chuck confessed to Blair about his real "first" time...when he said that he felt dirty and had to be okay with that and didn't want it for Blair...my heart broke...
