That was absolute brilliance, beyond that which can even be comprehended by mortal minds.

I must say this was a extremly good fic which really show the bonds that can be created between even the worst of enemies. The ending was somewhat bitter sweet, but it was really good and beutyful. Good work and keep it up.

I know it’s a long time since you started and finished writing this story, but it’s still definitely worthy of a review.

I almost skipped over it, with its understated description, but I took a peek at the reviews and found a lot of nice things said not that that is always the best way of finding a good story. Some of the worst stories I’ve ever read have had many complimentary reviews. I often pick through other peoples favourites, which is generally a good way to find some good reading. Though in a quest for something a little different, sometimes it’s good to try the site search engine.

It’s tough finding a good LOTR story and even tougher to find a LOTR/HP story that isn’t slash (ick)… and a story that the author has actually completed. I really don’t like to try to read part stories or even start a story with a pending sequel or two… I’ll just wait them out.

This story was brilliant. From start to finish you had me hanging on every word (and I do read every word). I’m not great with words myself, and probably won’t give you the credit you deserve with this review, but I know a great story when I read one and this one is about as good as it gets for a fan of fanfic.

I started reading this story last night, and just now finished it. After doing so, I have only this to say: that this was one of the best, if not the best, LOTR/HP crossovers that I have ever read in my life! And I'm not just saying LOTR/HP I mean Lord of the Rings and Harry Potter as crossed over with anything else! For starters, the wording was just terrific it was almost as though I was reading Tolkien again! The pacing was good, and fortunately didn't drag as long as the original book did not that that's bad, of course! I love how you fleshed out Smeagol's character, and made him sympathetic of a sort and redeemed him at the end through his affection for Hermione. Lastly, I'm glad that you allowed them to earn their happy endings. They deserved it.
Great job, and I look forward to reading your other works!

I'd say that I include this amongst the best of the Harry Potter/Lord of the Rings crossovers I've ever read, of the ones where they go to Mordor. I never liked the ones where the Trio or just Harry end up having to destroy the ring. I always felt horrible. This was just right. Excellent story. Wrote more and more!
