Kishi 9/9/02 . chapter 1Ah, of course. Another character cut-up. And the lucky dissectionee? Why, it's none other than Belenus. Yay.
Well, why not Belenus? Most of the other Einherjar are just a group of dead mercenaries. Only Belenus is a hero.
While most of the others were out bsuy getting killed for the sake of money or vengeance or cruelty, Belenus died so that the girl he loved could live. He could have just shrugged her off, and lived a successful life as a diplomat, but he chose to die.
I don't know who else deserves the honor of your writing. In short, y'did good. |
Wallwalker 3/20/02 . chapter 1Heh, would've reviewed this long ago, but I could never remember enough about Belenus to say anything useful. Now that I've replayed, though, I can safely say that it really makes the scenario come alive one of the major weaknesses with the game is that it just doesn't give enough detail about the characters, so you don't care about them as much (which is probably why most people's favorites are the ones that are featured in A...) Although not knowing anything about the manga, although I'd like to, some of the plot changes threw me off a bit... _; |
miss toad 12/21/01 . chapter 1Oooh! So nice.. well-written and lovely. I could cry. Terrfic! Bravo! |
Joey1 12/18/01 . chapter 1Wow, very nice. I liked the look into Belenus's past, and the nod at the plot line involving his wife I actually suspected the same thing when I played the game). Are you planning on doing more introspections based on the characters? Llewelyn, Janus, or Jayle would be interesting, since they were soldiers in the Crell Monterfaigne army, Suo would also be interesting for an introspective, look same with Celia (the friend of Kashell, we later see her in Grey's introduction). |
