Jody Barsch 3/30/13 . chapter 1Well done :-D Great moment in the show to explore, and it absolutely seemed like Dean's thought process. [Probably shouldn't say it, but I've never been a Dean fan, though I guess I do have to prefer him over Logan. (Re: comment below - Jess may be a lot of things, but a 'potential wife beater'? I think not)] Anyway, I think this is my first GG ff! Look forward to more. |
TL22 7/21/11 . chapter 1I really enjoyed your story. You captured Dean and his thoughts perfectly. When i read this I think Rory deserves to wind up with a stalking potential wife beater like Jess. |
StarsHollow4ever 9/25/09 . chapter 1Loved this story! I agree with Sidura, Rory didn't deserve Dean. I was sorry the show had Dean marry someone and then cheat on her with Rory. It would have been much better if they'd shown him marrying someone who really got how great he was and then have her tell Rory to her face how great he was so we could see Rory have to her get "too little, too late" life lesson. |
Hawk50 8/29/09 . chapter 1Thank you, thank you so much! It wasn't bad enough that Rory never saw the gem she had in Dean - her grandparents fought that relationship with everything they had. From that first night Dean and Rory fell asleep at Miss Patty's and Emily just happened to be at their home, to that horrendous first (and last) dinner at the grandparents, when Richard treated Dean so badly, Dean was never, *ever* good enough to be with their granddaughter. It was all so unfair. So, I'd like to think that Lorelai *did* see the worth in Dean. Thanks for sharing this. |
2wingo 4/27/09 . chapter 1I never quite read the last line before. I just hope to God that it was Logan's car she got out of (as the devil you know is better than the devil you don't). |
Sidura 4/27/09 . chapter 1It doesn't matter how many times I have read this before, it is just so sad and makes me want to smack Rory round the head - she really didn't deserve him. Thanks for reposting. |
