Wow, Betty's starting to get really horny, isn't she? Gio has way more self-control than your average teen-age boy, I must say. Ha-ha to Henry among the trashcans--I could so see him with his glasses on crooked! Wow, I was really excited that Gio found a drive-in to take Betty to. I remember going to those with my family when I was a little kid, but they were pretty much all gone by the time I became a teenager. It's so cool that Gio was able to produce one to get romantic at! A very novel date. And then the beach--of course it reminded me of Gio's "If I loved a girl" speech with its mention of sleeping on the beach at Montauk. Gio's quite the romantic, but I'm beginning to wonder when he's going to make his move!

Can't add anything to that--when Betty's right, she's right!

Oh my God, the angst! Really, there's no romantic angst like high school romantic angst, because at that age you haven't been through it before, so you fear whatever goes wrong you may never be able to fix and that nobody can ever replace the person you love, because you've never been close to love before (Henry obviously doesn't count!) I find this Betty and Gio so REAL! And high school happy endings are unique, too, because you can't imagine the ups and downs to come, when you're feeling that unbelievable joy for the first time. Like this:
"Anyway, everything’s been sorted out and we’re back on track YAY! He walked me back home and left me on the door step with the most softest and loving kiss ever! Ohh I’m never going to doubt him again – I don’t ever want to lose my baby, Gio!"
