GAH. I CAN'T BELIEVE IT ENDED THERE!!

Wow. To say that this was inspired might not do justice to the wonderful, heart-stopping ride that this story took me on. I am just so overwhelmed right now. For a while there, I kindof took a break from the fandom and the memory of that unfulfilling and unjust finale, but I'm slowly coming back. However, your story has just about 100% revived my love for these characters, it was that good. If only - IF ONLY - we could have had this instead.

My absolute favourite bit, because its so damn beautiful and imaginable:
"Have you ever had a dream so vivid that you can't tell if it's a memory or just a dream?" her question surprises him, but then again, that’s all she seems to be doing lately.

"Sure. What's yours about?"

"I'm sitting on a porch, waiting for someone to come outside and join me. It's sunset and there's this... amazing view. Dark blue water, pink sky… But the best part is the breeze. I miss the wind more than rain, you know? Sometimes even more than sunlight."

Lee lets her uncharacteristic admission settle over him. It's odd, but he’s had a similar dream, except he's going onto a porch holding two glasses, but he always stops to look at the view and never makes it to his destination before he awakes.

"I guess you would, Starbuck. Wind is the only thing that could ever keep up with you," his voice is softer than he'd like and he's thankful for the closed channel.

*sigh* So, so good.

I just realized this had 2 chapters when I went back to re-read this to con't on with the sequel. Don't know how I missed this. Anyhow.

Kara has found and remembered her destiny. She has found her true self and her true love in Lee. She is going to the other side where her father is. She is the harbinger of death to the cylons because she has destroyed the resurrection hub and they are now mortal with mortality. And she will lead them all to their end--Earth. She is Aurora, Goddess of the Dawn. She is community property, to both the humans and the cylons to do with as they wish or see her for her destiny.

Seeing Stoffa has helped Kara tremendously. Even if she wouldn't admit it openly. Helo's best idea yet.

I love that her and Lee have the same/similar dream. Love that she won't tell him if she has a swing in her dream. You know she does. Love that Lee and Kara both sacrifice themselves for the other. The sign of true and everlasting love. Lasting the test of time and space. They will see each other on the other side right? Thus the sequel? Hope so. We all need a happy ending. Anything is better than RDM's ending.

You have so much packed into this chapter, that I can't touch upon it all with this review, but I know that it is all important to what is coming next. Thanks so much for your wonderful stories. I truly do love reading them. And Workerbee73 is just awesome as well. You paired up nicely with her. Thanks again. TTFN.

I really love this fic. I like the bit about the reconstruction of Kara Thrace.

Great love must be sacrified, just spells bad news. I like how you incorporated Katee's RL tattoo into the fic. Very clever. I hate Cavil with a passion.

Ghah. This was terrific! I'm totally carried away and also stricken--what happens next? Please tell me Lee and Kara get to be more than friends again (well, okay, you don't have to tell me, but I can hope for it in the story, right? :-) ). This is so well written and I love the very creative ways you've woven in the canon with original material, esp. the prophecies and the relevance of Kara's father. Gripping work--very engaging. Ooh, this was great! And a terrific set-up for your longer Post-Earth fic. I really love your take on the events from mid-Season 3 to late season 4. I'm pretty sure they make a helluva lot more sense than any of Ron's choices!
