OOC because Reishin and Houju aren't really that way and Reishin is very, very dependent on/in love with his wife, except it hasn't shown on screen and in the manga yet. The story of Reishin and his wife was one of the most moving short stories in the SaiunMono series for me. It has been mentioned in the anime scene where it is first mentioned that Houju is beautiful. Reishin mentioned that he was too beautiful that his fiancee left him; the fiancee actually left Houju to marry Reishin. Houju gave her up because he knew that there would never be another woman who can stand Reishin (This was said in the novel).

It's so sweet and cute. I love it. :)
