If Cal loved her so much, then why did he hit her and treat her like an object? Also was her birthday really in February or was that made up for the story?

This was a melancholy fic. But it was well written. Fics like these, about Cal, make me see him...as human. And not a heartless man. I still don't like him, and I don't think there's any excuse for the way he acted on the ship, but I understand him just a bit more. Good job.

Wow. I don't know what to say I absolutely loved it. Cal is my dearest sweetheart and that Rose. Well, I can't understand her. And I am *so* greatful to you for a story that doesn't depict Cal as a total bastard! Great job!
