I felt bad for Ashley cuz she missed the merchant and I felt bad for Leon because she hated him and he was clueless as to why.

I never heard of AshleyxMerchant before and I'll admit, it sounds odd to me, but you make it work here.

Ashley and the Merchant? Hmm... I like it! But the name Mark really doesn't suit the Merchant. Regardless, the poetry in this story is simply marvelous!

Wow, this is so sad and touching. The scene on the beach was especially vivid. I love this part: "The sky was losing it, just like she was. For one moment she felt in perfect harmony with nature." Beautiful piece, it definitely deserves to stand on its own. Glad you decided not to put it in Oh My Ganados!
