... WOW. I just watched this episode for the first time (I don't have cable so I watch the episodes on DVD when it comes out), and I was so upset at the end that the first thing I did afterwards was look for stories.

I think you explained it perfectly. I could totally believe your explanation for Castiel's none too polite brushing off of Dean. And I LOVE how you made the distinction between Castiel and Cas, that was brilliant! And I would really like to hope that "Cas" is still in there Because him and Dean were supposed to be friends, and I'd like to think that Cas really is still Dean's friend, 'cause he needs all the friends he can get!

Awe, no that was so sad,(poor Dean and Cas too) but equally beautiful, I really liked it! Awesome character interaction as always, as well as character portrayal and everything was very well written too, of course!

Great idea though, brilliant but so very sad, it really can happen, I think, would be heartbreaking if it does, though!

“Dean Winchester is not God.” made me laugh in what was an otherwise depressing fic. But a good depressing. Reading about Castiel's angelic ass-reaming (in the form of demon blood torture) was very interesting.

This was fantastic. I loved it.

Excellent explanation of Castiel's actions to Dean at the end of last night's episode. I really hope that there is a point to all of this Dean trauma Kripke and Co are doling out this season. I'm not sure how Dean is supposed to accomplish anything without support and even if he manages the impossible, which he often does, what will become of him after all is said and done? Excellent tag.

This made me really sad. They seem to be totally stripping Dean on the show of any kind of support-first Sam, then Cas, and it looks like he and Bobby will be at odds over how to deal with Sam...it breaks my heart.

And while I don't think angels would ever act the way they're portrayed here, sadly, EK's angels just might. Poor Dean. Glad to see Cas still has a soft spot for him, even if he can never show it.

Heartbreaking. Absolutely stunning. You are truly a gifted writer, especially with drawing forth emotions and mastering the ability of angst.

Poor Castiel! I've actually been wondering what happened to Cas up in Heaven. He was a bit of a jerk to Dean at the end of the episode, but then again, he was "taught a lesson." I wonder if Castiel will ever reveal what happened to him to Sam and Dean.

Ah! Cas H/C! Loved your take on this. Poor Dean I felt so, so bad for him when his angel turned on him. And of course, Jensen sold it perfectly never too much but you could feel his heart break... I so hope that Cas really is hiding away himself to protect Dean... and that he hasn't stopped really liking Dean poor Dean really needs somebody on his side!
