In the first chapter of Back in sixtey seconds gave a good descrpition of the history of the family. It set the tone for the beginning of the story. the daughter found a key to her parents past and how she got her name. This is a good begininng and payed attention to showing the reader detials about the girl and her family.

Interesting. But, Kip dead that's kind of sad. As well as sway but alas it is your story and pretty interesting so I will keep reading.
