I liked the music refference it worked for my imagination, especially since "Dearly Beloved" was playing while I was reading it. The dialogues were my favorite part. A bit funny, bitter and serious at the same time. Of course I loved the lines from the game you managed to put in. And the best part was the ending: with Cloud looking at Squall and with Squall's memory.

If I could, I would read a couple times more and contemplate before I write a review. Sadly I'm barely awake now; and because I probably won't have access to the internet for a week starting tomorrow, I'd better review now lest I forget to do it when the week has passed. D
Anyway, this is one more great fic that you've written. I love the 'music', every time it was mentioned I tried to imagine the scene and it was like watching a movie, with background music and stuff. Also love how Cloud only got to see how Leon looked like at the end. It's like, a powerful moment, a sudden revelation that made you look at a person in completely different light. So that it happened at the end is just beautiful.
And I'm glad it was Ellone. I've always been attracted to her relationship with Squall. XD

PS: Actually, the best thing about this is that it was posted on my birthday. Ha! XD

You write so well...I love how this turned out. And they tried...if you're going to die, do it on your own terms. I'm totally satisfied with how this turned out. Maybe it's just me but...I consider this somewhat of a happy ending. XD
