I am glad someone else made the Chuck Bass Peter Pan connection and wrote about it! I agree 100 I loved this story as a child and it is much more reality than the Disney people think it is. This was a great story and does a great job of explaining Chuck and Blair's perspectives. Thank you for posting.
I have this theory that C&B could also be Beauty and The Beast. I know it is cliche, but I have always thought Belle was different from the other "princesses," she does not wait around for the prince to save her, she helps him find the true person he is supposed to be, and makes him see that other people can care about him and he does not need to keep everyone at arms length. Belle is strong, independent, and intelligent, and does not take the Beast's attitude like everyone else does. She also sees what everyone else cannot see through. Belle also falls for the Beast while he is still in Beast form and him turning into a hot guy is just a bonus.
