Hmm...Seems that, what the Yondaime did, was to divide the Soul and Chakra of Kyuubi on 3 parts. One, the Yang Chakra, and Kyuubi's mind, inside Naruto, the Yin part. . . the smaller and positive part, was sealed on the Scroll that Jiraiya its hiding. and the most closest guarded secret, a THIRD part, one that contains a small shard of Kyuubi's soul, but one vital, to ensure that Naruto couldn't be manipulated, as this fragment contained the more esoterical/mystical abilities of the Kitsune...included the Foresight and other gifts. Given that its a smaller fragment, and included only 1 Tail of power at most, Yondaime must have used another type of Seal.


Orochimaru may accidentally had given the Cursed Seal to Sakura(likely trying to protect Sasuke, and it adds to the feelings of regret and self guilt from part of him towards Sakura's situation), and as she fought to survive it, that triggered a forceful melding of this shard with Sakura itself, giving birth to a new Kekkei Genkai Doujutsu, and granted the mystical gifts of the Kitsune into Sakura...of course, the Bakayarou on Konoha, would shun Sakura, if they see her suddenly acquiring , Blood-red, Slitted eyes...alongside a "Terror Stare" or something for the style...

Likely, Sakura's new Doujutsu, was so enticing, and possibly, holding a part of the Kyuubi's power, that for him the Sharingan would be a poor man's choice? What better power, than the gift to "Foresee" the enemy's moves...to always know what the other would do...something that No Genjutsu would cloud, or Taijutsu would surpass...a fitting gift for him, on his mad mind...add, the wonderful power alongside those eyes...the power of terrify his enemies with a single stare...


Naruto its going to curse Yondaime a LOT...for him, one thing its to leave the burden on one individual...but to leave on someone else, and that nobody would know of it? His loyalty to Konoha will start to quickly wane, as his bond with Sakura deepens to unthinkable heights...

Sasuke...its going to loath Konoha , AND Orochimaru with a passion...if Naruto AND Sakura are with him, when he discovers the truth of the Uchiha Massacre, those two will gladly help Sasuke on turn the Village into ashes...heck, i would see as possible, that once they kill Orochimaru, they take Otogakure as their new base of operations...

This is interesting. I was hoping for Cherry Yellow to be updated but this is a great rewrite. I can't wait to see how you've explain Sakura's foresight and how Sasuke fits into all this.
