WOW... great story idea. I'd love to read more and can't wait for you to continue it. I'd like to see what you do with the "something on your back" story line instead of "Bad Wolf".

Oh, that got really creepy at the end. "Turn Left" was such a freakin' scary episode. But not as bad as Silence in the Library and its counterpart. THAT sent chivers down my spine. As did the "Are you my mummy?" line from the Silent Child. Ugh. And don't even get me started on "The angels have the phone box." I couldn't look at statues for a week.

But, back on topic (sorry 'bout that), this is yet another FANTASTIC chapter. And I JUST realized that I have yet to review for "Hello, My Name Is Fred". I'm just that oblivious sometimes. And incredibly off topic today. Odd.
I loveloveLOVE how you started the chapter. The teacup thing made me lol, and it had a nice balance of humour and angst and excitement and creepiness. Well done again, my friend. :)

I REALLY like the way you described the Doctor here. Rather than just make a female version of David Tennant, which would have been easy and unoriginal, you came up with a woman that would definitely seem other-wordly but real at the same time.
I like the "week-long shopping sprees" and "can drink anyone under the table" and every other thing you listed in the first part.
And I LOVED the second part as well. One sentence that says it all. Short and sweet. :)

Another exciting chapter! It's great that you didn't do a re-write, I can't stand those.
That one little tidbit, "The Doctor was a black hole of silence." was an AWESOME analogy. I loved it.
I also liked the way you picked certain parts of the episode and how you presented them. Like with the part with Cassandra.
The ending, by the way, was SPECTACULAR. You just write EXTREMELY well.
Loved it, loved it, loved it.

This is going to sound odd, but bear with me.
I LOVE stories where my favorite characters get gender-bended. It just opens up so many possibilities, you know?
And you have just a lovely writing style, that's able to go from serious to humorous without a hitch. I was ecstatic about the last line, which was right on par with the original version (which I loved, by the way).
"I think she's gay." just made me crack up. :)

Most of this is just episode rehashing with the Doctor as a woman. What's the point?
