Just read the whole thing in the past weeks. I hope you will update it in the future. I love how you try to make it historically correct and canon. Also love the A/N's I'll learn something every now and then.

It's been a while since last update. I hope all's well with you, dear author, and that maybe you'll find it in yourself to produce more awesome? I can't be the only one waiting around for next chapter :)

As I'm getting to the current end I have noticed two things that are bothering me.
1. Isra feels to be too empowered. She barking orders and stubbornly refusing to listen others who have more experience and skills like she's the leader of the assassin order. Now I haven't studied the history (real and game version) of the Assassin order much so I don't know about these wildflowers (that was the trio's title thingy right?) so that might be the reason why it feels so strange. yeah the brotherhood probably is the most advanced in the field of gender balance but this feels a bit too much. Spymaster, yeah I can see that. Top dog on dealing with information, yup easy. The de facto leader when Al mualim isn't around? Nope.

2. Altair seems to have lost some of his depth. From the game(s) I got the feeling that while being gritty and rough he was also cunning and intelligent. Charismatic eventually or the order would have crumbled. Now he feels like a brute. Hulk smash style. Oh well maybe he's still licking his wounded pride still loads of time to get him back to top shape.

Even with those two hiccups the writing in incredibly well done; best part was the childhood in Masyaf was bloody brilliant.

Side note while I'm eating away to the latest chapter: You are very goddamn awesome. The history notes KICK ASSSS in a singing voice of Jack Black. Back to reading.

Is Miraj the brother of Isra? Is that why Rida reminds Altair of Isra? Is that also why Isra knows their names? And why do I keep typing Isra?

I cannot help but say this, but you are so clever it hurts. What plots are you spinning in your mind that we cannot see?

You may or may not have gotten this answer before, but what you call "face whitener" is also called foundation.

And fish scales aren't that bad! They get everywhere when you clean a fish anyways.

My gosh, your story is compelling and unique and I love the dialogue. Isra is soo interesting, independent but cautious while still soft in some sense (I'm a little afraid that she might turn colder as the story continues but it hasn't stopped me from reading for two days straight). Haha all her little love qualms - Idris, Malik, Altair, her husband(s) - love it to the core.

Awesome story! I really like Isra, her relationships with Altair and Malik are so interesting! I can't wait for the next update!

It's sad because this story is so superb, but there's been one update since last april's, which was almost a year ago.

A great story, but i think its time we all move on and accept it isn't going to be finished

Holy Cow! It's been 5 months already. When are you going to update this wonderful story? I almost forgot about it then when I remembered to check, I was dismayed to see that it hasn't been updated in a while. Hope you haven't given up. This is probably one of (if not the best) AC stories out there. In fact, if I could add this to my favorites list a hundred times over, I would.

I'm amazed by how you managed such a complicated story. LOL Good job! Only thing I was disappointed a little was that I couldn't find almost any romance in it according to the description. I know it's a loooong fanfic and I had to skip a few pages but the romance should have progressed quite a lot by now? Other than that kudos for such an epic effort!

I know this isn't much to say in the way of helpful commentary, but seriously...I could not stop reading this. I'm so frustrated, but in a good way, being yanked around by all of these numbers and plans and subterfuges, all the while struggling with the real problem: sexism. I adore how you handle your historical facts, but mostly I adore how much effort and thought you put into something as messy and difficult as sexism. It's hard to portray without the oversimplified dichotomy or black and white, right and wrong, so much so that I've encountered the ironic presence of sexism in a supposed female-empowered character/storyline (Example: The female lead is always right because she's female. She is strong physically, but must retain her sense of virtue. Or if she is promiscuous, it is never within her control; she cannot explain her behavior coherently).

Isra is a wonderful character as well. I liked that she always seemed to answer Altair's and any other character's chauvinistic disdain with a profound strength and clarity.
