My, my...this piece of fanfiction about Metal Gear Solid 4's main character was one of the most eloquent and truthful pieces I have ever read. And I could actually hear Drebin saying all of this to somebody either in person or through a Codec conversation. Not only have you gotten Drebin's way of speaking down PERFECTLY, you've portrayed Old Snake's situation so well, it's practically flawless. I'm very impressed.

Hey, where were you hiding this? I didn't even realize it was you until I read the reviews. I couldn't help but read it all in Drebin's voice, if that tells you something. Nice way of turning his infodumps into something interesting and bittersweet. I thought it was pretty clear who was being addressed. I really like the way you worked in the myth about the snake and immortality, though my mythology-whore mind was saying, "No, the snake just smelled it in Gilgamesh's pocket and stole it..." But artistic license is what mythology is for.

Anyway, nice piece.

I love the way you adapt Drebin's narration style to describe Old Snake. Tried to write a story with that style, but nowhere as good as yours. (Describing another B&B member which isn't in game)

Dunno, it gives this vibe to the reader that it's addressed to the people who finished playing MGS4. ^_^ Maybe just me.

Wow, that really did come across like one of Drebin's little synopses (spelling?) of the BB ladies. It really was poetic, and depressing, but I'm slightly confused about who it's addressed to. I'm pretty sure Meryl and Johnny got married before Snake croaked, was it Jack and/or Rose?

Also, wouldn't it be "YOU" instead of "YOURS" instead? Considering Drebin's catchphrase and all.
