God, that was beautiful! I loved the clean style you used without any true dialog. Very interesting and made the story flow together as a collage of scenes and events. And so sad, too! Right at the end, you got me with how they both finally understand the gravity of all the time they've lost. And how truly OLD Snake is at this point is just so tragic... *cries* Anything you touch is golden, this story was a thrill to read!
