Cristy W-S 2009-05-26 . chapter 2Enjoyed this one very, very much! Always happy when the bad guys are put out of business, especially those nasty pieces of work who have a total disregard for animals.
I was hoping James would be spared a thrashing, but I never in a million years thought it would be by Siegfried showing up looking 'hellish' and brandishing a castrator! Jeez!! :)
It was rather generous of Siegfried to let Tristan get all the credit, but then he did things like that every now and then, didn't he - perfectly in character, imo. It just amazes me how well you portray the characters, right the way down to Mrs Hall! Well done, you!
Absolutely LOVED Siegfried's 'lecture'! OMG, surely the man can't really believe that of himself, can he? LOL! He's an original, that one!
BTW, my computer didn't let me finish my review of Chapter 1. I meant the last bit to read: I do hope James has been saved from a thrashing. I like when he goes all brave and says what needs to be said whilst valiantly fighting for the welfare of animals.
Brilliant story! Thanks so much for sharing it! :) |
Cristy W-S 2009-05-08 . chapter 1Y'know, this is really, really good! From the way you write, I can almost imagine I'm reading a newly-found chapter of one of the books!
The interaction between Siegfried and 'Little Brother' is brilliant! You had me laughing over their encounter with Beatrice - it's easy to imagine what Tristan told her about Siegfried, and truly in form to have it backfire on him.
