Loved the piano scene. A little bummed that the lemons were sort of glossed over, but I can tell that "those sordid details" are not the main thrust of the story. I am thoroughly enjoying the portrayal of all of your characters, again. You have a special gift. Sigh...

I love your writing, I love your stories, I love your impeccable spelling and grammar. I loved, Loved, LOVED, L-O-V-E-D a Litany at Dusk. I am so excited to read this one. This chapter is so light and fun. I can't wait to get further.

The Pack is going to accept Nessie without a problem. Especially since she pretty much single handed saved the entire Pack. Dad will just have to learn to live with it. And Mom will make sure he does.

Jane made a huge mistake attacking the man/wolf Nessie loved. And she either didn't know about Nessie's gift or didn't think she would have the strength to use it. And now Jane and Mei-An will be a pile of ashes. Just warms my heart to think about that. Anyone bring marshmellows and chocolate for s'mores?

The trap was well planned. Caius really thought he'd be able to kill them all by making sure Bella was surrounded by the smell of human blood. Was it Zafrina letting Bella hear the lullaby? Or was her subconscious at work like it was when Edward was gone? Caius is gone and so are a lot of his henchmen. Now off to find Jane and destroy her.

They are correct. Edward is not going to be happy about the new relationship between them. Bella will be much more understanding and, no doubt, remind Edward of when they were in high school. And what happened when he left her. What it would probably do to their daughter if he insists on sererating her and Jacob.

Leah accepted her punishment not knowing what it would be. Now she can live as a full human again. Now she'll have to decide what to do with her life. As for the others, really glad they won't be able to hunt vampires any longer. And just maybe the law will give them what they deserve.

Rosalie is a first classe bitch.

Leah came to her senses. She would never have gone to Alaska if she had known who they were hunting. Talking sense into her pack is pretty useless. Sam and the Pack must have been monitering the woods and seen what was happening. Or maybe Seth alerted them. Hope Charlie is going to be okay. Bella and the Cullen's would hunt all those wolves down and destroy them in the most painful way possible if anything happens to Charlie.

Very large differences in personalities, but not necessarily bad ones. They have been used to take the story in the direction you appear to be heading. Liking the story. The biggest part of Caius human help is now dead. Looks like Leah didn't have much luck getting the other wolves to stop working with the vampires. Why they'd continue doing that will make an interesting revelation. Or maybe they think they can take Caius and friends down once the rest of the vampires are dealt with? They could be that delusional.
