I like it-just wondering if you'd thought the rest of the story through. My least favorite part of Eclipse with the "I'm going to kill myself/no, kiss me" scene that just has never seemed realistic to me. It seems like that part would change too.

I liked this-Bella is a lot more realistic. It never set well with me that she kept going back to Jacob and acting like she had no clue how that would hurt Edward.

Penguins... funny! I love the mental image of Edward becoming absolutely statue-like, but with angry fire in his eyes. I enjoyed this chapter. I'm interested to see how far the ripples travel from this one changed event.

I like the way Bella is thinking here - it is a great alternate action/result for that scenario. I hope you continue.

Totally and amazingly awesomerific. I really think this is a great fic and idea. I'm glad that I have found someone doing this because I was considering it, and I personally think i'm am a crap fic writer. So, i'm glad someone who can wtite is doing this. I look forward to reading the next chapter, whatever it is.

This was great. Good canon AUs are so hard to find! I wonder if this reaction would have been enough of a wakeup call for Jacob ... I also like how Bella realized what she was doing to Edward.. I thought she was being such a hypocrite when she flipped at hearing about Tanya's interest in Edward, yet if she actually reflected on her own actions, she would have realized how much she was hurting Edward. If she wasn't such a hypocrite, I wouldn't have minded her jealousy so much. She SHOULD be aware that there are people out there who would appreciate Edward.

I've always wanted the story to go this way. Great idea! Keep it going, I'm interested to see how it turns out. But I would like it to be more in depth, like your other writing. Longer with insight and lots of detail, not quick chapters. Bella's thoughts are so much deeper and conflicted. I checked your profile and agree with you 100% about BD. I've read through almost all the stories written by older writers (and alot written by the younger ones) just to satiate my thirst for a different ending to the Twilight books. I feel confident saying I've read almost every story out there worth reading and feel you are one the great writers on here! If you ever need an opinion (or beta) on something, keep me in mind. Thanks for the great break from reality...speaking of which, I think my kids just dumped out all the lego's! Back to the real world.

Surely you know by now that it isn't possible for you to write anything that is anything short of exquisite. In Field of Dream, the voice says, "If you build it he will come." Well my take is "If you write it we will read." Glad to have you back!
