An interesting and insightful fic. That Kyle Katarn sounds like a Mary-Sue to me, hopefully one of these stormies will blow him away. Keep updating.

Not bad. I think I'd like to see some more thoughts from Rost especially his fear at having to confront a Jedi.

Real-life or sci-fi, soldiers are soldiers. They gripe and they talk about ordinary things. You do a very good job turning the stormtroopers into real people.

Pretty cool beginning. Good job with the banter and giving these stormtroopers personality. I especially like the addition of the two techs who come in. They sound like a couple of jagoffs.

Good guys or bad guys, soldiers are people, too. They joke around, they grouse, they recall incidents in their lives. It has been said that soldiers on opposite sides of a war have more in common with each other than the leaders they serve.

One typo I caught: "got to close" should be "got too close."
