And I don't even really READ Dark Brotherhood fic. And I keep on protesting that I don't even LIKE it but I think I'm beginning to be turned around, because this is just ridiculously excellent and beautiful and there must be MOAR. Gah!

Adfgjiornzxq! When I saw my name at the top of this I was like 'what?!' since I don't think anyone's ever actually been inspired by my work before.
But this was beautiful! And sad at the end, but as you've seen, a sad ending is sometimes necessary, especially given this kind of subject matter. There was that definite sense of insanity that Lucien SHOULD have, because fangirls seem to forget he's a psycopathic murderer when they're writing about him. Sure he's the best character in Oblivion, but the guy is a cold-blooded killer.
I also realised, sometime after you reviewed my story, that you're the one who wrote Mourner's Dawn. I loved that story! I believe I left you a rather stunned review, if I remember rightly. I'd like to write my own Lucien/Character slash story, but truthfully I haven't actually played through the Dark Brotherhood yet, and I'd like to finish that before attempting to write about it. Someday soon, I hope.
But I digress; wonderful job! I'm glad someone's keeping the Lucien fanfic going.

I cannot help but love this one shot. I really liked how you used concepts like silence and void to describe Lucien and his relationship with his Silencer. It works very well. Delightful. :)

This requires a stronger adjective then "love" to describe it. Therefore, I'm not going to say I loved your story like I always do. I positively adored this! It was short but so perfect.

I can't wait to read more of your wonderful pieces, Kytten.
