That was a really good story, very well descriptive and I like how the character grow a bit. I remember reading only the first chapter when I quite, but then I recalled the same sentences on deviantart and gave it a second chance. Glad I did :)

Heh. I like this much better than the "storyline-fitter" ending. Let's face it; The canon of Death Note sucks, to some degree. Awesome characters, awesome story, cruel deaths to awesome characters. Besides, isn't the point of fanfiction to fix the canon's many, many mistakes? ;)

Kinda sad that this story ended in only six chapters. It's by far the only MelloxNear story that I have been able to tolerate and love.

Which is why it's going into my favorites.

Sigh... well, tis a year on now since the first time I read this and was ABLE to review it. The first time I screwed up the courage to speak to an annonomous writer who I had so much awe for in the craftmanship in their words, their plot and their story-weaving. One year on... and the person who struck me completely stunned, has done so many more times since. Most recently by agreeing to become my other half. My friend, my lover, my girl and my kindred spirit. At least that is how it feels to me.

I look back now, and realize just how easy it would have been for you to have fallen aside like other writing heroes I found on here, one's like me, who either forget to reply to all their reviews or simply don't feel like they should. Not a day goes by that I don't thank that you took the time to respond to my silly little fan-girl gushing.

Wherever we go, you and me, whether it's hand in hand or not... this fiction will always mean so much to me, simply because it gave me a chance.

I love you baby girl. For now and for always.
