i've just spent th better part of two hours reading this, and i think its one of the most fabulous lily/james stories i've come across. i approve greatly of the length of time you've taken to develop a proper friendship between you characters - too often, people jump straight the the fluff and leave out the build up.
my only concern is the lack of voldemort/death eater activity mentioned - i know that canon details on what exactly was happening at this point in history are sketchy, but i'm fairly certain dumbledore mentions in 'philosophers stone' that they have something to celebrate to for the first time in ten years, which, as lily and james were young when they died, most certainly included their last few years at hogwarts. (wow that was a long sentence!) then again, hogwarts is a school and people do tend to try and insulate children from these kinds of things. Good luck witht eh rest of the story, and i look forward to reading more.

What a wonderfully written chapter.

I feel like I'm starting to get awfully repetitive, throwing in a little (well, a lot of) praise for every review, then topping it off with something about how excited I am for the next. But really, when you keep writing heart-melting scenes like that, what else am I supposed to do?

In a totally not-kidding way, I am super excited for the next chapter.

(Additionally, I'm so pumped for the Livvy-drama! Whatever it may be.)

Three things:

1. Don't kid yourself, this could really happen in real life (as I said in my last review). Seriously, there are people out there who are this cute.

2. You know, for a self-declared cynic, your writing on love is stunningly accurate. You have this way of reproducing every emotion and feeling with ease, so it doesn't feel forced or rushed or awkward, just... perfect. Even though I'm much more into drama than fluff, I could read your fluff all day, because it's... real, for lack of a better word.

3. Is it sad that I have no idea what you're talking about when you say we should detect a milestone coming up? Uh-oh...

4. (I guess there's actually four things.) I'm really glad the Jonathan thing was resolved, although his stalker-ish characteristics served quite the amusement.

This is the most freaking adorable thing I have ever read.

The bonus is that I can see this conversation happening in real life. Unfortunately just not with myself (I'm so lucky as to have friends that all found amazing, loving relationships on their first try. Wtf...)

That being said, keep up the awesome work.
