I've had this story on my favorite's list for a while, and I come back periodically to reread it; but each time I'm so overcome by the story I've never been able to leave a proper review. And so here I am, finally.

I've read many of your things, loved most of them, but very few can compare to this piece. It has real depth, real meaning. It paints such a clear picture of how we, as writers, react to things in the real world. We're inspired by the most mundane, most trivial things. One detail that most others miss and our imaginations spiral out of control with ideas and fantasies within a fraction of a moment; whirling with what we so desperately want to see. Reading this is like being smacked in the face with nostolgia in that respect.

And when it all comes to the end, when reality rushes in, the narrator's feeling of being let down is incredibly palpable; so familiar that my own mood wilts. The whole thing is rather melancholy, but i can't help but adore it, adore the idea and thoughts behind it.

I suppose I'll stop now, before I begin to ramble. Thank you for writing this; I will continue to enjoy it in the future.

I really enjoyed reading this! Your writing style is fantastic - especially the way you managed to give Cloud and Leon character without them saying much (it really enhanced the theme of observing and fantasizing). The plot was almost painfully realistic in places but I understood the message you were sending out and agree with you completely!

Definitely one of the most original fanfics I've read in a very long time. Loved your take on how fanfic writers think and imagine and put two and two together to get not four but whatever we want.

I love the concept of this. I don't think many of us remember that what we do here is simply sharing the perceptions of our own minds with others. Maybe there is an alternate universe where these things do happen (and in this girl's case, there is!) but until we can access it, this is all we have. And, well, thanks so much for your kind words. Oh wow...this was wonderful. I like how the narrator is the one in charge of the story, yet you never know who she is, really, even just a name. And it's better that way, because she's not the focal point of this fic. I've wondered sometimes about the stories between people at my own job, and the regulars are the ones who tend to become victims of our healthy imaginations. And sometimes reality is stranger than fiction. But I do have the sudden urge to get a job in a coffee shop, now. XD I could only be so lucky.

It looks like quite a few authors here have had a large impact on you; it's thoughtful of you to acknowledge that here. I hope they take the time to read this.

this is just wow. I love it. You picked the one thing all fangirls do and its wonderful to relate to all the dreams and speculations the narrator has; you didn't just put a little of the fangirl in there, you made this story about the way we all fantasise during our days. wonderful
