at first i thought this was going to be a sorting hat type of poem, but it went much deeper. i like the end, and especially the line about sneering all day and crying all night. just beautiful. :) sorry, i really like it, but don't have particularly constuctive criticism. all the same there was no way i couldn't stop and comment.

Joannie! I don't remember ever seeing this before, but it's... warm and wistful and sweet and a little sad, and it makes me want to read more about the Founders as pictured here, but then, that would take away the whole point of what grew in the legends and what was lost...
