Reviews for: Voiced Palatal Affricate and Voiced Bilabial Stop

Your story sounds really cool. The title made me really excited, but also caught me a little off guard. I'm so used to describing [ʤ] as post-alveolar instead of palatal. But whatever, it's a disputed topic. If you wanted, you could also write out their names in IPA. Jamie would be [ʤemi] and Barbra would be [baɻbɻə].

Sorry, but I haven't had a phonetics class in a while and I miss talking about it. It seems to bore most people very quickly.

I was wondering about the barkeep's name. Is that Westron for Butterbur? (Not phonetically of course, but in meaning?)

Odd that I haven't reviewed this already... I like this. As a fellow amateur linguist (and I mean amateur in its most literal sense), both the title and this chapter caught my fancy. Are you going to continue?

Yay, you're writing again! This sounds like it definitely has potential to be a good story. I really hope you update soon, because you have me very interested. :D
