I found your story very amusing wth humor & charm all in one. I found the Narnia reference amusing about the baby in the wardrobe. And the gravestone of William Wonka. Brilliant! I've been wishing someone would knock off Willy Wonka, lol. Kudo's to you for all the creativity in your story. Oh & by the way. I did notice the Secret Garden reference, lol. Very enjoyable lil crossover into Tim Burton's world, considering I've just recently watched Edward Scissorhands, Sleepy Hollow, & Coraline myself.

Guess what? I finally have TIME to do some reviewing, my computer battery is almost full, and my unpredictable internet connection seems to be working just fine. So if this second review attempt gets lost it's through some factor beyond my control. Reviewing as I read even though I already read and reviewed it (*glares at my 'baby'*) Sorry that this probably isn't as fun a review as my earlier attempt, I'm not quite as witty and hyper this morning (wait, it's 12:30... em, afternoon then, I just woke up, so I still think it's morning...) as I was the night before.

Re the A/N: Nonsensical? Of course. Wow, I got a reference and a dedication. ^__^ Unless, I misinterpreted and it's actually you BLAMING me for the nonsensical nature of this story and just saying it cutely so I'm not offended... I'm totally not anyway. Remember Gizmo? If they accept Gremlins fanfics, I want to do a sort of insane Gremlins and house elves crossover. Like SPEW meeting gone wrong: the elves raid a clothing store and eat after midnight and then we have... chaos?

Never mind that... "Don't take it too seriously" Okay, promise. And you CLAIM your OCs, I never do so you must have something you like about them. I personally just ignore my creations of Evan Rosier's whiny girlfriend and Jack the Stupid Muggle. But I don't like them, you see.

ANYWAY: What a lovely Burton-esque little girl Viola is. And thankfully she escaped being another Victoria in the family, her brother is not so lucky. Flutterby? Did you know that was a kids' book about this winged horse-like being that thinks it's a butterfly. Even accidently irony is great.

Lol wardrobes and parallel universes. When I was a kid, I sat on the floor of one for hours. I completely missed the "you can't get to Narnia if you're looking for it" point.

And Mrs. Lovett trying to catch a kitty! This must have been before she discovered the OTHER white meat and before the rivalry with Mrs. Moony, unless it's a hypocritical claim "She's using pussy cats in her pies! (Even tho I am too...)" The way my stepmom called me a bitch. Ironic or just annoying?

Mrs van D? See, that's another Mrs. Lovett-ism, shortening names like Todd which have only a few letters in the first place. It actually takes as much time to say Mr. T as Mr. Todd. Glad you noticed it too.

Okay, V's a vegetarian. (V for Viola, I'm in a Gossip Girl craze at the moment. Everybody gets a letter, see the above statement too, GG and Mrs. L. lol.) She won't eat the dead, but there is that fascination not just the sympathy. I'm surprised she wasn't more captivated by the dead 'flutterby'. But still it was loved as it was alive... Good too that she just wants to get rid of Victor and not kill him...

Betelguese... Beetlejuice. Shall I say it a third time? that was brilliant. the gravestone of willy wonka and the adorable dead dog. ^__^ Viola liked it instantly, well, of course she did. Who can resist the possessed skeleton of a dog?

Beetlejuice: perfectly portrayed here and I somehow forgot how annoying he was until just now. Intense little exorcism there. Who do we call for trouble with the dead?

Aw, adorable little ending there too. Victor can stay afterall. He's not so bad. Love.

-sighs- Victor and Victoria. What horrible names matched together, as i have previously noted in Lia's fic. Oh, goodie, the 'zombie' first line! "It was a universally accepted fact..." Yepyep. The penchant of black and dead things remind me of Tim Burton, LOL. Cuz i read interviews with HBC, apparently there's dark humor with him. HAHA, the Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe reference! And Betelguese - one of the stars in Orion. Knowledge that came from hunting down lists of the names to name Bella's children -sigh-. LOL, Mrs. Lovett's trying to catch cats. Aw, the skeleton doggy! It's so cute! Beetlejuice is um, creepy. Yep, creepy. Aw, Victor is cute too. Peasant/present. LOL. This fic is mad cute, btw. I like it, despite (or because) it's random.

LMAO I noticed your small contribute to "The Lion, The Witch, and the Wardrobe" in there. Lol Mrs. Lovett must have been trying to catch cats again. I love this idea, very creative. A HUGE crossover that I enjoy. Oh I read the Secret Garden so the sound of the wind and the crying kid on the moor thing was from that! I remember it's how the author describes it-I loved The Secret Garden-lol Willy Wonka has a grave. Damn you and killing Willy. Aw what a sad ending! Lmao though I can't get over poor Willy! DAMN YOU AND MURDERING THE CHOCOLATIER! Lolz. Joking of course but still. (lip quivers) You had to kill him...aww well!

So, I haven't seen Beetlejuice (it's on my list but I haven't gotten around to it yet), so I didn't get those references, but I kept on seeing references to other books/movies that you hadn't listed!
"It was a universally accepted fact..." "Pride & Prejudice"
The fascination with dead animals - the little boy from "Chocolat." Though I suppose I can't ascribe a fascination with death to just ONE book/movie.
The wardrobe - "The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe."
The wind sounding like a child crying on a moor - is this the "Secret Garden" reference?
Willy Wonka
the skeleton dog - the Nightmare Before Christmas
And of course Sweeney Todd and Corpse Bride.
This was very Tim Burton-esque, I think you captured the atmosphere of his movies perfectly!

I liked it! Viola seemed a little like me, so I liked her. The way you used Beetlejuice was funny and I'm a fan of every Tim Burton movie. It was good to see someone finally put them together a little bit. I make references in my stories.

I am not too familiar with the fandoms like I told ya, but I liked it and after watching a clip of Beetlejuice on Youtube this seems in character.
Yeah I agree with you it was random, but good randomness.
Loved the line: "A small part of her yearned to point out that this was bad grammar, but then again – she didn't understand half of what came out of Beetlejuice's mouth, and he never stopped talking long enough to let her ask, so what was the point? He was at it again already."
It was actually quite funny and described Beetlejuice well.
Loved Viola and the appearence of Mrs Lovett.
Good job x
