This story deserves all the 10+ plus reviews it gets. :P Seriously, one of the best ways to handle that whole 'rebuild Vulcan' vs 'Enterprise' debacle I've read--and considering how many ST-movie verse fics I've read in the past month, I'd like to hope that I've read my fair share. :D
For being somewhat short & sweet compared to other fic sagas, this packed an emotional whammy the likes of which I hadn't experienced with a fic in a VERY long time. Everyone was brilliantly in-character, the plot was well-paced, the emotions were so well-done I was crying and laughing and cheering throughout the whole shebang, and just...::happy sigh:: I end my read feeling ridiculously satisfied. :P

But just imagine the day Spock's poor half-sibling finds out that their mother used to be married to their brother.

I've never cared for the subject of accidental pregnancy *squick* or any pregnancy as a device to repair a broken/lacking/over relationship. I've seen it tried and done badly far too many times. Somehow you made it work beautifully. Brava!

I just found this story and wanted to tell you how absolutely beautiful it was!! I loved every moment of it and can only imagine the pins and needles people must have been sitting on while waiting for the next chapter to arrive when this story was first being published. You write beautifully!! Your ideas flow so easily from one to the next, your word choice is gorgeous, and you do such a wonderful job at describing the scene without overdoing it :) I will read this one again and again!!

I love this story! All the characters were perfect and I'm so glad you avoided the melodramatic love triangle temptation. Some stories don't give Kirk enough credit as a person and friend. I think he is a loyal friend above everything else and would never go after his friend's girlfriend.

OMG! I totally didn't see that coming.

before today i had never read any star trek fan fiction, but i stumbled across this story and decided to take a look. I'm not a trekie but i liked voyager (though i will never understand my boyfriends fondness for DS9) and i thought the recent movie was amazing. I really like it so far. Despite my limited knowledge of this universe i don't think the future spock from the movie would have approved of this spocks actions.
