Even though it was short, you still managed to write so great, and describe so many things into that short piece of text. That last line was touching, very powerful even for one phrase.

oh goodness. this is so sad. there was so much depth to a piece of so little words. i know its hard, but im happy to see-and im sure that everyone else is too-that the family seems to be taking everything one step at a time. stephanie was an amazing writer-really one of the best, and was loved and will be missed by many. You guys sounded like you had a brilliant relationship, when my half brother passed I was a mess for weeks, and then I felt guilty because I put off all the things that he always encouraged me to take part in, writing went on hold and so did everything else. Some days you just feel like screaming and the pain never goes away, but I do promise you it gets better. Whenever I really get upset I just write, usually it's rubbish but sometimes I stumble across something. Find something to focus on and remember all those good times, they are the best.
